Today you will descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater for a half day crater tour. Explore the forest areas inhabited by monkey and elephant, the lake area with the opportunity to see flamingo and other bird species, and the savannah where predators like the lion and cheetah are always on the hunt. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge in Serengeti.
Enjoy a morning game drive on the endless plains of the Serengeti for the chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle or a pride of lion lounging in the shade. Return to the lodge for lunch before departing to Lake Manyara. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After an early breakfast, depart for a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippo, monkey, tree climbing lion, flamingo and other variety of birdlife. At mid-morning, drive to Arusha. Lunch at a restaurant in Arusha.
