Witness nature in its most amazing and most intimate setting with an East African safari. Follow the classic safari route, through the Serengeti of Tanzania and Masai Mara of Kenya, to encounter the annual Great Migration. An endless stream of wildebeest and zebra head north from Tanzania, closely watched by lions, leopards and other African predators. The most daring and captivating moments of the migration occur when the herds gather to cross the Grumeti River and the Mara River from July through September. Crocodiles line the river in wait, creating an exhilarating atmosphere.

The Ngorongoro Crater in northern Tanzania, formed by the collapse of an extinct volcano, is home to more than 30,000 animals. This naturally enclosed area provides a plain that is teeming with life. The Southern Tanzanian circuit offers a road less traveled with unique walking safaris and evening game drives. North of the border, Kenya's Amboseli National Park is home to the largest herds of African elephant in the world. The Masai Mara and Kenya's many other parks offer the chance to see creatures like the endangered black rhino, leopard, cheetah, reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx, Grevy's zebra and the long-necked gerenuk.
